30 Day Shred - Level 3 - Day 5


So it's been 2 days since I last updated. Exercise hasn't been too bad. It's been a little harder cause I've felt like crap.

On saturday I went out to The Hungry Horse pub for dinner with my boyfriend, his mum and her partner, I figured 1 day off my calories wouldn't be too bad, I got in some extra exercise before hand so I didn't go too much over my calories. Went to the cinema after that, watched The Hunger Games, thought it was really good but it could have been better. The books have more detail.

On Monday, we were supposed to be going t the cinema again because we had free tickets that needed to be used up. Came home from work expecting to have dinner at home and go out later. Unfortunately, this wasn't everyone else's plan. We ended up eating out yet again, this time at Frankie and Bennys. Frankie and Bennys don't have nutritional information anywhere other than calorie information on the lighter meals. I however, didn't fancy any of the small selection of light choice dinners and therefore just picked something I wanted. This was a big mistake, although the meal was very nice, afterwards I just felt so full and horrible.

We went to watch The Devil Inside Me, total let down, just like paranormal activity. Wouldn't watch it again even though it did scare me a lot.

Got home feeling as bad as before, felt bloated and fat. Ended up going to sleep. Got up the next morning feel just as poo, did my exercise, was harder than it normally is, I felt heavier from all the food that was probably the problem.

I felt much better on today's workout, still feel bad fr not having something lighter over the weekend. At least there are no more free tickets and I won't have to go t the cinema and out for a meal anytime in the near future which is good.

Ive decided to up my exercise slightly, I am going to finish the 30 day shred as planned, however I'm going to be doing an extra 20minutes on the cross trainer starting from today too. It's been a while since I've been on the cross trainer, since I've been doing the shred for that matter so atleast a month. I felt it in my legs a lot but it felt good.

Need to go and pick. My laptop from pcworld as it is back from being repaired, whilst I'm doing that, I plan on getting some running shoes and workout clothes. I'm pretty serious about starting the c25k plan so will see how that goes.

I will keep updating if I find things worthy of writing about, which I most likely will. Until then, stay healthy!
